Exclusive Interview!

A new video, “The Joliot-Curie Family and Sports: A Family Tradition,” is now available on our YouTube channel. Bilingual in French and English, it features interviews with Hélène Langevin-Joliot, Pierre, and Anne Joliot, who are respectively the children and daughter-in-law of Frédéric and Irène Joliot-Curie. Illustrated with archival films and photos, it highlights the favorite pastime of this line of scientists: amateur engagement in all kinds of outdoor physical activities.

Partly filmed in the museum, this video complements the temporary exhibition currently visible on the museum’s exterior gates, “With the Joliot-Curie Family, It Was Physical! The Sporting Pursuits of a Scientific Community.” In partnership with the Cinémathèque de Bretagne.
