The Curie and Joliot-Curie Association was founded to “perpetuate their vision of science, its social role, and the responsibility of scientists, as well as to promote gender equality and science education.”

The attacks on science, on the independence of thought it requires, on its universality, and on the very foundations of rationality—widespread in the United States and other countries (such as Argentina)—are contrary to our founding principles. We stand in solidarity with all those striving to resist these dangerous trends.
